About Us
Since its inception in 2000 Carson Australasia, a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), has provided Nationally Recognised Training to over 3000 government and private clients. Our customised training is designed specifically to reflect current business and organisational trends, ensuring the best possible transfer of skills from our training courses.
Carson Australasia is committed to providing clear, structured training and development support to our clients. We personalise our sessions; provide mentoring and coaching prior to, throughout and after our courses. Many clients look to us for career advice and, through our affiliation with several respected organisations, we can often provide helpful options. Our promise to you, is to align our services and training programs to support you in achieving both your personal and organisation's goals. We listen as well as we train!
Our Training Programs
Nationally Registered Training Courses - (accredited courses)
- Carson Australasia is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO no. 31298) delivering Nationally Recognised Training for the new TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- Our TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment courses (face-to-face and self-paced programs) are designed to be interactive, participative, dynamic, safe and respectful learning environments. With our understanding of adult learners, we have designed programs which ensure all learning styles are accommodated. Many people have commented that they found out more about themselves and their strengths through our courses than in any other training they have attended.
- Carson Australasia will soon be offering the TAA50104 Diploma in Training and Assessment and the BSB51107 Diploma of Management. Scheduled course times will be advertised soon but you may register your interest by email or phone, as seat numbers will be limited! Our Diplomas courses will be designed with the busy professional in mind and will incorporate dynamic and integrated training with an emphasis on practical activities providing clear skills acquisition.
Carson Australasia offers professional development courses designed for business professionals for:
- Presentation Skills
- Using Powerpoint effectively
- Emotional Intelligence
- Leadership
- IT courses.
All of the courses above are scheduled on our calendar and are run on a demand basis (minimum numbers apply), however we can, and do, deliver one-on-one training if required. All of our courses may be accessed at our custom built training rooms or if you prefer we will come to you! We have experience and qualifications in many management related fields and we are constantly developing new courses. All of our courses can be customised to suit your organisational requirements. Carson Australasia will also deliver our courses interstate (minimum participant numbers apply).
Our Competency
Our very experienced and highly qualified trainers not only train, but are also employed within the Vocational and Education Training sector (VET). Our principle trainers have done extensive study and research in business and are fully conversant and up-to-date with current business requirements. Our trainers also work within the Higher Education sector as university lecturers, bringing a depth of understanding to the training environment not often available within the workplace training arena.
Our trainers' research interests often sees them speaking at, and attending, many local and international conferences. We are aware of the dynamic world of workplace learning and regularly consult with industry bodies to ensure our training programs reflect current practices. We are affiliated with many professional associations which add to our industry knowledge.
- Carson Australasia has been twice ranked as one of the top 400 privately owned businesses in Queensland and was recognised for it’s outstanding achievements as a recipient of the prestigious QBR Q400 Award. Our competency within workplace training and learning is exemplified not only by the QBR Q400 Award but due to our constant interaction with peak bodies for the workplace training sector.
We are centrally located in the Queen Street Mall and, as such, are one of the most accessible Registered Training Organisations offering close proximity for our city-based clients.
- Our custom built training rooms are situated in the commercial arm of the Lennon's Plaza Hotel, a central accommodation option for our many outer Brisbane and interstate clients.
- We have two large training rooms with seating for 15 comfortably in one room and 10 in the other. Our seats are large, adjustable and comfortable high backed office chairs.
- Both rooms are fully equipped for interactive training, with technology including whiteboards (print and electronic options), networked notebook computers, projectors, photocopying and printing facilities.
- Our offices have excellent natural light, a large, clean kitchen with dishwasher and fridge and a décor designed to provide inspiration – not to mention a great view!
