Diploma of Management (BSB51107)

Full Course - 8 Day Face to Face (plus project)

There are 8 units of competency necessary to gain this qualification. The units in this course can be viewed from the Government Training website (TGA - www.training.gov.au).

This course will provide the skills and knowledge for participants wishing to progress from roles such as, Team Leader or Supervisor or similar, to that of a Management role. It is expected that participants may already be engaged in the management of a team and have had experiences in a variety of management approaches. Participants completing this qualification will be able to enhance their existing knowledge and skills in the achievement of higher level management outcomes.

This program would be suitable for people wishing to consolidate their management experiences or to recognise their existing skills in the acquisition of a relevant qualification. Typical roles supported by this qualification include:

  • Middle Level Manager
  • Office Manager
  • Plant Manger

It is expected that participants wishing to undertake the Diploma of Management could also have existing qualifications and technical skills. Participants may enter this qualification from any given vocation area or profession. Participants may also wish to gain this qualification to show evidence of their existing supervisory skills.

There are no entry requirements for this qualification, however potential participants may wish to discuss whether their background and experience will be suitable underpinning to complete this course by contacting us at any time for more detailed information. Participants with vocational experience or those holding a Certificate IV in Frontline Management or such may find this Diploma very useful.

We guarantee this course will be participatory, engaging and a dynamic learning experience for all. We provide ongoing support and guidance throughout and after the course to ensure all participants have every opportunity to complete the qualification.

      Our BSB51107 face-to-face course is run only five times throughout the year with limited participants. Participants wishing to attend this course should enrol early to secure a seat.

      This course requires the completion of a post-course project which, not only consolidates the learning from the face-to-face program, but finalises the assessments. We provide full support and mentoring to complete all activities throughout the course and the post-course project.



      Our training days normally start at 9:00am and finish about 4:30pm - however on Day 1 of the course we start at 8.45. We have 15 minutes for morning and afternoon tea breaks and a 45 minute lunch break.
