From 1 January 2015 anyone enrolling or re-enrolling into nationally recognised training, delivered by Australian-registered training organisations, will need to have a Unique Student Identifier 'USI', before they can be issued with a Qualification or Certificate of Attainment. The USI will become the key building block that supports more targeted training for the needs of Australian industry.
Your USI links to an online account that will contain all your training records and results which you have completed from 1 January 2015 onwards. Results will be available in your USI account from 2016.
If you do not already have a USI, you can make an application on-line. The process to obtain your USI is straight forward, is a once-off application and takes about 3 minutes. Please visit: http://www.usi.gov.au/Students/Pages/default.aspx
Nationally Recognised Training
Established in 2000, Carson Australasia (a Registered Training Organisation) has provided Nationally Recognised Training to over 300 government and private clients. Our customised courses are designed to reflect current industry needs, ensuring a broad transfer of skills from our training to the workplace.
We deliver Nationally Recognised Training in:
Training & Assessment
Our 6/8 day program is designed to be stimulating, interactive and enjoyable and it has consistently returned excellent outcomes with participants demonstrating the required skills transfer.
We provide support and guidance during and after the course with access to highly qualified trainers. We also limit participant numbers to ensure a high ratio between trainer and participant.
Address Adult Language, Literacy & Numeracy Skills (TAELLN411)
This program covers the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to identify language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) skills requirements of training and the work environment and to use resources and strategies that meet the needs of the learning group.
TAA Upgrade and Language, Literacy and Numeracy
Upgrading from the TAA40104 requires completion of our 2 Day upgrade course. Upon completion, participants will also achieve the TAELLN411.
All Trainers and Assessors are required to hold the LLN unit as a core unit.
Nothing provides greater ROI than the continuous development of your people. Leverage Carson’s and Major Training Services' (MTS) proven skill development offerings to ensure continued success in the New Year and beyond. These upcoming open enrolment-training sessions provide the perfect opportunity to jump-start a successful new year.
