Margaret Kling
Managing Director & Trainer
Margaret Kling has over 30 years experience with a diverse and extensive background in the training and development discipline. Margaret has designed, written and delivered training in a variety of fields such as; HR, Management, Business Statistics, Legal Administration, IT, Customer Service, Music and Sales for Government organisations, NGOs, private organisations, TAFE colleges and Universities. Her experiences include roles such as Training Coordinator, IT Help Desk Supervisor, Duty Lawyer Clerk, Business Owner/Manager, Senior Accounts Manager, Music Teacher, Sports Coach and more. Margaret is an Accredited Practitioner and a former member of the council of the QLD/NT arm of the Australian Institute of Training & Development (AITD) and was a member of the Board and Secretary for Adult Learning Australia (ALA) from 2007 to 2009. Margaret was awarded a Diploma of Company Directorship from the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).
Prior to joining Carson Australasia, Margaret's career included management, leadership and training development roles and she has owned and operated several businesses including a Newsagency, IT Software Company and, part owner of a Training Consultancy. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Science (Psychology), a Master of Training and Development, the Diploma and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Front-line Management qualifications and TESOL qualifications.
Margaret is currently studying toward her PhD researching adult learner's self-perception, development and potential and she often speaks at international and local conferences on the topic of adult learning.
Margaret is a dynamic presenter who has an energetic training style that promotes participants’ interaction and learning.

René Kling
General Manager & Trainer
René Kling has 26 years experience in the Management, Procurement and Supply Chain fields (including national responsibilities), and several years as a Senior Management Consultant. Organisations he has worked for include the RAAF, Mobil Oil, Ford Motor Company, Local Government, Import and Distribution companies and a national consulting firm.
His qualifications include a Master of Business in Logistics Management, an MBA, a Master of E-Commerce, both the Diploma and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, and he is currently completing his Doctor of Education. René was formerly the Queensland Chair for CIPS Australia and was a Fellow and Queensland Chair and Director of the AIPMM. René also holds memberships in LAA, AIM and AITD.
His qualifications include a Master of Business in Logistics Management, an MBA, a Master of E-Commerce, both the Diploma and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, and he is currently completing his Doctor of Education. René currently delivers training in Supply Chain Management related areas for the Queensland and NSW Governments and a range of other government and private sector clients and lectures in Management, Logistics, HRM and Purchasing and Materials Management for Central Queensland University on a sessional basis.
René specialises in assisting organisations achieve process improvements. René often speaks at, and has chaired, international conferences. He has also contributed two chapters to the AIPMM book "Supply Chain Management: A Procurement Perspective", which is used as a text for Purchasing related university courses. René's training style ensures that participants learn effectively, and have fun at the same time!

Dan Graver
IT / Business Manager & Trainer
Dan has worked for many years in the IT industry as a Service Technician, Build Section Manager, and Systems Administrator. He has extensive experience as a technician and has built a large range of systems and configured many networks. His IT skills were noticed when, as a university student, he quickly became one of the tutors for his fellow classmates at UQ.
Dan has tutored in Java Programming, System Design, Human Computer Interaction and Usability. He is also a qualified trainer and assessor and has both the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and the Diploma of Training and Assessment Systems.
Dan maintains the Carson Australasia website, our computer networks, database and software and, as a Business and IT consultant, frequently assists other organisations with their information systems.

Samantha Clarke
Facilitator & Course Administrator
Samantha has over 12 years experience of training and assessments in corporate, non-profit and Government organisations in both South Africa and Australia.
She has a vast experience dealing with people from all works of life and all levels of education and mediated many active learning processes within the education framework in South Africa.
Through her 6 year experience working with an international Children's Rights organisation, Save the Children Fund, she was exposed to the world of poverty alleviation, capacity building and integrated development projects. Samantha has been consulting since 2004 and moved to Australia June 2008 where she has been working at TAFE as a Course Coach and Assessor for TAA.
Samantha has a passion for training and a drive for developing innovative learning experiences which is always evident in her training sessions.

Tori Stevens
Administration & Enrolment Officer
Tori's role in our team is to attend to course administration and enrolments. She will be the point of contact for participants and will ensure all participant's needs and course requirements are fulfilled. Tori may also phone to remind you about your project completion!
Tori looks after our general office administration and monitors all course databases and spreadsheets. Tori has qualifications in Forensic Science but we hope she will not need them in her current role!
She is taking some time out from the science world and we are very happy to have her skills, even if only temporarily!
